Arizona Region 2024 #8 Rallycross , December 14-15, 2024

Location: Camp Verde Equestrian Center :1495 E Hideout Arena Ln, Camp Verde, AZ 86322

Event Description: Rallycross event for the SCCA Arizona Region brought to you by Arizona Rally Association as well as Camp Verde Equestrian Center. This will be our final event for the season and we will be changing our competition day to Saturday so we can accomodate a proper awards session and end of season party. This will mean our fun run/practice day will shift to Sunday and there will be no skills drill for this event.

Our Saturday competition day will be the same as our typical Sunday competition day with 6 cumulative runs with penalties making up your complete times for the day

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION!

The registration menu will be setup like our normal events. Please still register using the Sunday menu to register for the Saturday RallyCross and use the "Skills Drills" option to register for the Sunday Olympics session.

Entry Limit: This event will be limited to a 40 car limit for each day. Entries over that limit will be put on a waitlist.

Saturday RallyCross:

Pre-registration: $70 members $80 non-members (does not include weekend membership)

Week of event Pre-registration: $80 members $90 non-members (does not include weekend membership)

Sunday Olympics:

Olympics session: $30

We will be capping off our season with a culmination of year that improved the field of drivers we had to the point of slim margins across all classes. We want to put all drivers to the test and see who reigns supreme after a series of challenges that will measure the standards of our drivers to crown our first AZRA Olympians.

You will be allowed one attempt at each obstacle as we progress through them as a group. We will allow for a single re-run by each driver. The re-run will need to be completed while obstacle in question is hot.

We will be covering...

1. Straight line acceleration into a controlled braking box.

2. Slalom

3. Decreasing Radius Turns

4. Increasing radius turns

5. Fixed radius turn with Proximity cones

6. Clover leaf out-back

SCCA weekend membership : $20

Onsite registration or payment accepted only for specators and weekend memberships. Prices will increase the week of the event.

All persons driving in a car at this event must have an SCCA membership, either full or weekend. Ride-alongs are free but are required a weekend membership as well as signing a waiver.

Everyone (including spectators) is required to sign a waiver.

All entrants are required to work at the event.

If you do not work your assignment you will be charged an $85 penalty. Reference the pre-reg requirements for more details.

This will consist of 6 cumulative timed runs.

Registration/Tech Inspection: 7:00 am - 8:00 am

Guided Course Walk: 8:00 am - 8:30 am

Driver's Meeting: 8:30 am - 9:00 am

Morning Session/Course goes hot: 9:00 am - 11:30 am

Break: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Afternoon Session/Course goes hot again: 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Course Cleanup: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Awards: 4:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Sunday Competition (Times are approximate):

Registration/Tech Inspection: 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Driver's Meeting: 9:30 am - 10:00 am

Morning session goes hot: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Break: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Afternoon Session goes hot again: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Course Cleanup: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Awards: 4:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Venue Facilities: The venue will have a dedicated pit/camping area (see map). They are requiring a $20/vehicle* charge for two day competitors for parking and camping. There are bathrooms and water facilities onsite. Single day participants and spectators will be required to pay $10/vehicle* for parking.

*Trailers and vehicles on trailers are included in the single fee

This is a very well cared for equestrian arena and we are pleased to be working with them to bring this event to the area. There are horses and other operations present on the facility please be respectful and leave the site that way you found it. Please keep to respectable speeds while entering and exiting the facilities.
