Car Classification
While car numbers are not required for the Saturday Autocross School, number and class will be required for Sunday's Autocross competition if you choose to participate. If you have any questions about which class your car should be in please contact Chuck Nienhouse at cenienhouse@gmail.com

Event requirements
Grissom ARB is a No Drone Zone. Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) flight is prohibited except as specifically authorized by the Installation Commander.
Minors
A Minor Waiver must be completed and submitted at Check-in for drivers and passengers under 18 years of age. Minor Waivers require both parents/legal guardians to sign and cover participation in "hot" areas like the grid or course. Forms can be completed online at Login Required or via paper forms (notarized or witnessed by an SCCA official). Minors under 12 are not allowed in hot areas, and 12+ must be SCCA members. Getting an Annual Waiver for minors is highly recommended.
BOTH parents' signatures along with the minor's signature must be present and witnessed by a notary public or by an IndySCCA official at registration. If a parent/guardian has sole custody, the parent/guardian must have a completed and signed affidavit stating he/she has sole custody and no other parent/guardian has a lawful claim to custody of the minor.
** WAIVERS MUST BE PRINTED DOUBLE SIDED AND IN FULL COLOR **
Helmets
Helmets meeting the following standards must be worn with the chin strap securely fastened while on course:
Snell Memorial Foundation standards SA2025,EA 2016, SA2020, SA2015, SA2010, SAH2010, M2025D, M2025R,M2020D, M2020R, M2015, M2010, K2025, K2020, K2015, K2010.
SFI standards 31.1/2020, 31.1/2015, 31.1/2010, 41.1/2020, 41.1/2015, 41.1/2010.
FIA standards 8859-2024, 8859-2024-ABP, 8859-2020, 8860-2018, 8860-2018-ABP, 8859-2015, 8860-2010.
Full face or modular helmets shall be worn while competing in an open-wheel car, formula car, or kart.
Loaner Helmets are not always available - please bring your own!
High Center of Gravity Vehicles
THIS IS IMPORTANT: Vehicles with a high center of gravity and a narrow track, such as 4WD trucks, minivans, and most SUVs, pose a rollover risk when asked to corner at an elevated speed. Due to the increased chance of rollovers these vehicles are not allowed to compete. Additionally, the following vehicles have demonstrated unstable characteristics and are not allowed to compete:
• Dodge Caliber (non-SRT)
• Fiat 500 (non-Abarth)
• Ford Fiesta (non-ST)
• Geo Tracker
• Jeep CJ series
• MINI Countryman
• Nissan Juke
• Scion iQ, Scion xB
• Subaru Forester, Crosstrek
• Suzuki Samurai, Suzuki Sidekick
