AZRA 2024 SCCA RallyCross Event Supplemental Regulations

Last updated: 3-12-2024

In addition to the 2024 SCCA RallyCross Rules, the following supplemental regulations and procedures apply to all 2024 AZRA SCCA RallyCross. Any questions not directly answered by these supplemental regulations are defaulted to the RallyCross rulebook and then to the Event Steward for interpretation. All sections of the 2024 RallyCross Rules are mandatory.

1.1 An entrant who experiances a mechanical issue or debeads (flat tire) on course will result in a red flag and will be allowed a five (5) minute grace period from the time they reach the pits (see course map), timed by a grid worker, to attempt a fix. This will only be allowed once per event. If the issue is fixed within the five (5) minute allowance, a rerun will be given. If the issue cannot be fixed within the five-minute period, the run will be scored as a DNF. Other entrants will not be held from running to preserve the run order. Once the mechanical issues has been fixed, the entrant will be slotted back into the run order as quickly as possible for the rerun by the grid captian/safety steward. Once the rerun has been completed, the entrant will be put back into the current run order by a grid worker.

1.2 All motorized pit vehicles must display a SCCA pit vehicle pass. Participant-owned pit vehicles, may request a pass, at no cost, available at Registration. Only persons with a valid state-issued driver's license or SCCA Full Competition License may operate a motorized vehicle on track property. No one under 16-years-old age may operate a non-licensed vehicle, i.e. golf cart, ATV/UTV, scooter, car, motorcycle, etc. anywhere on CVAA Property without AZRA prior written approval.
1. Safe operation of all pit vehicles will be STRICTLY ENFORCED. If someone is observed operating a pit vehicle in an unsafe manner, the pit vehicle may be impounded and/or violator may be removed from the premises.
2. Participant bicycles are allowed. Children are not permitted to ride bikes and scooters in the pit, gird or roadway during hot track hours. Children may be permitted to ride them at the end of the day if they do so safely.
